Often I'm asked what tools do I use. Now the tools I use on almost a daily basis are here listed below.
Now it's very important that I mention that each one of the tools listed below have flaws, yes flaws! Tools, especially analytic tools used for the web should be only used to "GIVE YOU AN IDEA" what's going on and what you should do. The reason is simple the search engine algorithms change constantly.
So they should only be used as an indicator of what's going on "NOT" as an end to all ends! But what these tools are extremely useful for is finding an identifying trends. Yes trends, that you can exploit and your competition is probably not aware of or have overlooked.
